Christmas Parade

When: November 27, 2021

Prizes and drawings are provided by the local businesses and the Muenster Chamber of Commerce. the businesses will have registration boxes for the drawing in their stores. The Chamber asks that you patronize the Muenster business community.

1. All entries must be registered on form provided; person in charge must be designated on form.
2. Please include a detailed description of entry, listing individuals participating for the convenience of parade announcer.
3. No Live Santa Claus may appear on any float other than the Official Santa Float.
4. All floats and other vehicles must remain in the parade for entire route.
5. Parade will form on 7th Street between MISD and Sacred Heart School.
6. No materials (candy, gum, pens, balloons, etc.) may be tossed or otherwise distributed from any float.
7. A representative from each float entry must arrive prior to lineup, (5:30pm) to pick-up their lineup number.
8. Report to 7th Street between schools, you will be presented your lineup number and they will direct you to your place in line.
9. Start time for parade 6:30 p.m. at 7th and Main.
10. All entries must be ready to roll 35 minutes prior to parade time, to allow time for preliminary judging.
11. Please have your parade entries in by deadline date November 12.
12. Please allow time for drill teams and bands to perform – signal will be given to pause for performance so gaps will not form in the parade lineup.
13. The Muenster Chamber of Commerce will not be responsible for loss of property or damage to vehicles left in or around the parade area. The Muenster Chamber of Commerce will not be responsible for accidents involving parade participants or parade spectators.
14. Parade route ends at First and Walnut streets, where many parents will be meeting their children following the parade – please watch for children and observe all traffic safety rules.
15. Santa will be in Muenster State Bank for pictures.
